Job summary

KCS IT in Lisbon is seeking a MuleSoft Developer for full remote engagement. The role requires 4+ years in MuleSoft development and hands-on experience with Anypoint Platform, API design, and integration patterns.

You will design, develop, and maintain APIs (REST and SOAP), build reusable components, collaborate with analysts and architects, and ensure security, scalability, and reliability. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of MuleSoft development experience.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Experience designing and building REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong knowledge of DataWeave, API design, and integration patterns.
• Experience with API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Studio.
• Understanding of JSON, XML, RAML, and OpenAPI specifications.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Develop and manage RESTful and SOAP APIs following API-led connectivity principles.
• Build reusable integration components and services.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver integration solutions.
• Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization of MuleSoft applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of integration solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
