Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced Java-focused senior developer and technical leader to work remotely from Portugal on investment solutions for a major banking client.

You will mentor teams, drive architectural excellence, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable software. Fluency in French (C1/C2) is mandatory for effective international collaboration.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience, preferably in finance/investment projects.
• Proven track record as Tech Leader or Senior Developer with team guidance.
• Fluency in French (C1/C2) is mandatory for international collaboration.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and Java design principles.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setup from Portugal with Agile tech stacks.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the technical design and development of Java-based investment solutions for a major banking client.
• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure robust, scalable, and high-performance Java applications within the investment domain.
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, architectural patterns, and technology stack.
