DataSmart is seeking an Integration Engineer (Remote – Portugal based) to design, develop and support healthcare system integrations. You will work with HL7, DICOM and other interoperability interfaces, configuring workflows in Mirth Connect and documenting deployment guides.

The role requires 4+ years in integration engineering or related fields, plus strong troubleshooting and English/Portuguese proficiency.

Qualificações

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in Integration Engineering or similar role.
Experience delivering end-to-end healthcare integration projects, preferably Radiology.
Knowledge of HL7, DICOM, IHE standards.
Experience with integration engines such as Mirth Connect.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Portuguese and English proficiency at professional level (B2).
Living in Portugal and available to work in a remote model.

Responsabilidades

Design, develop, test, and maintain healthcare system integrations.
Implement and support HL7, DICOM, and other interoperability interfaces.
Configure and manage integration workflows using Mirth Connect and related technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration, interface, and data flow issues across distributed systems.
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver integration projects on time and to quality standards.
Produce and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and deployment guides.
Monitor integration performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure system reliability.
Provide technical support during implementation, testing, and production phases.
