Capgemini Engineering in Portugal seeks an experienced Integration Consultant to design, develop, and maintain system integrations across multiple platforms. You will deliver end-to-end healthcare integration projects with a focus on reliability and scalability, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

The role emphasizes radiology workflows, database design, and ensuring interoperability standards.

Qualificações

• University degree in IT or Engineering.
• 4-5 years in integration roles (Integration Consultant, Developer, or equivalent).
• Experience in database design, development, and administration (Oracle DBA valued).
• End-to-end healthcare integration project delivery, radiology workflows preferred.
• Hands-on development using Mirth Connect, JavaScript/.NET/Java, PL/SQL, C/C++, COM interfaces, Web services, XML, SOAP.
• Knowledge of DICOM, HL7, IHE standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Integration Consultant to join our team. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Design, develop, and maintain system integrations across multiple platforms
• Deliver end-to‑end healthcare integration projects, with a focus on reliability and scalability
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and implement integration components using various tools and technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues efficiently
• Ensure adherence to healthcare interoperability standards and best practices
• Support database design, implementation, and administration activities
• Continuously improving system performance, data flow, and solution quality

YOUR PROFILE

University degree or master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

4-5 years of experience in a similar role (Integration Consultant, Developer, or equivalent).

Strong experience in database design, development, and administration (Oracle DBA experience is highly valued).

Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end healthcare integration projects, ideally including radiology workflows.

Hands‑on experience developing integration components using technologies such as:

• Mirth Connect
• JavaScript, .NET, Java/J2EE
• PL/SQL
• C / C++
• COM object‑based interfaces
• Web services, XML, SOAP

Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards:

• DICOM
• HL7
• IHE (Integrating Healthcare Enterprise)

Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written in English).
