Imaginary Cloud is seeking a backend-focused Java engineer to join our Portugal-based team. You will build scalable services with Java/Spring, work with PostgreSQL/Redis, and use Docker/Kubernetes and CI pipelines. English fluency and eligibility to work in Portugal are required.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across industries to solve complex problems, grow your skills, and contribute to modern digital products in a remote-first, flexible work environment.

Formación

• 5+ years of working experience in Back-end Development with Java.
• Deep expertise in the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, REST/gRPC).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Terraform for infra as code.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitLab CI and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with distributed systems, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger).
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) and eligibility to work in Portugal.
