Kardex Group in Portugal is seeking a Data Steward to ensure high-quality master data and governance across the organization. You will collaborate with international teams, support SAP MDG, and drive data excellence in a hybrid role based in the Lisbon area or fully remote within Portugal.

You will partner with IT and business stakeholders to improve data quality, document data flows, and support data migrations while promoting a data-driven culture across the enterprise.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Management or comparable qualification.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in Data Management, Data Governance or Data Quality.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data integration; SAP MDG preferred.
• Familiar with master data management, data quality, and governance processes.
• Experience with Python and process automation is a plus.
• Good understanding of GDPR and data privacy requirements.
• Fluent English (minimum B2) and ability to work with international teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally in a global environment.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure quality, consistency and integrity of master data across systems.
• Maintain and improve master data and related metadata.
• Analyze data quality issues and drive sustainable improvements.
• Document data flows, transformations and business processes.
• Support data governance, compliance, and security standards.
• Collaborate with business units, IT, data owners and international stakeholders.
• Support ETL, data migrations, and validation in SAP environments.
• Manage data incidents and promote a data-driven culture.
