Muehlhan Wind Service is seeking a Remote Controller to support offshore wind operations from our Remote Center in Barcelona. You will monitor projects, provide engineering support, perform fault analysis, and help maximize turbine availability across Europe.

The role requires strong analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, and good English (B2). This is an international environment with a focus on the global energy transition and continuous training opportunities.

Remote Controller - Offshore Remote Center (ORC)

We are looking for Remote Controllers to join our international operations team in Barcelona, Spain. This role is responsible for supporting and monitoring offshore wind projects, helping ensure the efficient and safe operation of wind turbines and associated infrastructure.

About The Role

As a Remote Controller, you will play a key role in supporting offshore wind operations from our control center. You will monitor project activities, provide technical support, perform fault analysis and troubleshooting, and contribute to maximizing turbine availability and operational performance.

Working closely with engineering, site teams, and project stakeholders, you will be part of an international environment dedicated to advancing renewable energy across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Support offshore wind operations and project activities.
• Provide engineering and site support to operational teams.
• Monitor offshore projects and turbine performance through remote control systems.
• Perform troubleshooting activities, both online and offline, in the event of turbine faults or grid outages.
• Analyze, document, and track faults to support continuous operational improvement.
• Communicate effectively with site personnel and project stakeholders during operational events.
• Ensure accurate reporting and maintenance of operational records.
• Contribute to the safe and efficient execution of renewable energy projects.

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

• Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field is considered an advantage, but is not mandatory.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic technical knowledge acquired through professional experience or academic background is considered a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Good understanding of technical systems and operational processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and international environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level (will be assessed during the recruitment process).
• Previous experience in the wind energy sector or remote operations is considered an advantage.
