Syffer is a consulting company focused on talent, tech and innovation, seeking an experienced Application Architect to design scalable, cloud-native solutions. You will define architecture, document specifications, and ensure compliance with security and GDPR standards.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, guide development teams, and promote DevOps and CI/CD practices across projects, with EU citizenship required for EU projects.

Qualificações

• Experienced Application Architect with a strong background in designing scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs (OpenAPI), and asynchronous integrations (AsyncAPI).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.
• Able to translate business and functional requirements into implementation-ready technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, application security, and development best practices.
• Familiar with architectural patterns such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, CQRS, and Event Sourcing (desirable).
• Knowledge of IAM, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure application design (desirable).
• Experience with MongoDB, data modelling, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and GDPR/EUDPR compliance is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide development teams and ensure successful solution delivery.
• Must hold European Union citizenship

Responsabilidades

• Define the functional and technical architecture for enterprise applications and digital solutions.
• Produce clear, implementation-ready technical specifications and architectural documentation.
• Ensure solutions comply with architectural standards, security requirements, quality standards, and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Guide and support development teams during implementation, ensuring alignment with the target architecture.
• Design and review microservices-based, cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Define API strategies using REST (OpenAPI) and event-driven integrations using AsyncAPI.
• Promote software engineering best practices, DevOps principles, and CI/CD processes.
• Ensure solutions comply with European data protection regulations (GDPR/EUDPR) and security standards where applicable.
• Review technical designs, identify architectural risks, and recommend improvements to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
