Jobgether is partnering to recruit an AI Research Scientist focused on scientific evaluation. This fully remote, freelance role evaluates AI-generated research for rigor, novelty, and reproducibility, following strict rubrics and providing concise, evidence-based feedback.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in ML/AI/CS/Statistics, has multiple peer-reviewed publications in top venues, and can work independently with flexible hours. Global applicants welcome, with compensation by the hour.

• Assess novelty and significance by comparing to state-of-the-art methods.
• Examine experimental design, baselines, metrics, and reproducibility.
• Identify methodological flaws, unsupported claims, and inconsistencies.
• Verify literature coverage, citations, and code implementations when relevant.
• Assess whether outputs meet high scientific standards for top ML/AI conferences.
• Produce structured, evidence-based evaluations with clear justifications.
• Apply evaluation rubrics and maintain independent scientific judgment.
