Weekday 1 is seeking a Ledger & Reconciliation AI Expert to join the finance and data transformation team in a remote, multi-country setup. The role focuses on ledger management, intercompany eliminations, and AI-driven automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency of financial processes.

You will drive end-to-end reconciliations, design chart of accounts, and implement AI-powered tools to streamline workflows, while collaborating with global teams to ensure timely financial close and high data

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 2-8 years of experience in ledger management, reconciliations, or financial controllership.
• Strong expertise in account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with intercompany accounting and eliminations.
• Deep understanding of chart of accounts design and governance.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and reconciliation tools.
• Exposure to AI/ML-based finance tools or automation platforms is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• You will manage and optimize end-to-end account reconciliations across systems.
• Identify discrepancies and perform variance analysis to highlight trends, anomalies, and risks.
• Automate reconciliation workflows using AI tools to reduce manual work and improve turnaround time.
• Handle intercompany transactions and eliminations with accurate recording and reconciliation.
• Contribute to chart of accounts design, alignment with reporting, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve mismatches and close books timely.
