Weekday 1 is seeking a Financial Reporting AI Expert to modernize month-end and year-end close processes with AI-enabled tools. You will prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments while ensuring audit-ready data and compliant financial statements.

You will also help integrate AI into reporting, collaborate with data teams, and evaluate tools to drive automation and predictive insights across finance processes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA preferred).
• 2–7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit.
• Strong understanding of month-end and year-end close processes.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, accruals, and financial adjustments.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Exposure to AI tools, automation platforms, or data analytics in finance is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes using AI-driven tools to reduce cycle time and improve accuracy.
• Prepare, review, and validate journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets and income statements.
• Design workflows for audit-ready financial data and automated checks.
• Collaborate with data teams to structure financial data for ML applications.
• Evaluate AI tools and build use cases to advance finance reporting.
