Job summary

Inetum is seeking a Regulatory Governance Officer to join an international banking project within the Global Markets area, with a focus on Indexes Risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role involves monitoring regulatory risks, coordinating governance committees, reviewing control results, and supporting regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or related field.
• Experience in Compliance, Risk, Internal Control, Audit, or Regulatory Governance is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

About the Role

Inetum is looking for a Regulatory Governance Officer to join an international banking project within the Global Markets area.

The successful candidate will help ensure that business activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards, with a particular focus on Indexes Risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory risks and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Coordinate governance committees and follow up on action plans.
• Review control results and identify potential issues or breaches.
• Support the implementation of regulatory changes and new requirements.
• Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Front Office, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to the design and enhancement of control frameworks and procedures.
• Promote regulatory awareness and support mandatory training initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and audit trail management.
• Act as a key point of contact for regulatory topics within the Global Markets Permanent Control team.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Compliance, Risk, Internal Control, Audit, or Regulatory Governance.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in an international environment.
