Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Writer based in Portugal who is passionate about exploring complex technology hands‑on and transforming that knowledge into clear, meaningful content. You will play a key role in shaping the developer experience for thousands of users worldwide, helping them succeed.

This role requires a blend of technical depth, curiosity, and excellent communication skills. You’ll build a strong understanding of the product, collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, and produce technical content that empowers developers to learn, build, and deliver with confidence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating technical content for developer or infrastructure audiences.
• Strong ability to understand complex systems through hands‑on exploration — not only through interviews or existing docs.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong user‑first mindset, able to clearly explain technical concepts to multiple audiences.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional teams and contributing to the broader product narrative.
• Experience or interest in platform or infrastructure technologies (low‑code, cloud platforms, etc.).
• Curiosity, autonomy, and a fast‑learning mindset for new technologies.
• Experience with docs‑as‑code workflows — Markdown, GitHub, and development‑friendly tools like VS Code.
• Familiarity with core software development concepts (web services, databases, cloud architecture) to interact confidently with engineering teams.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and comfort working in iterative development cycles.
• Experience with collaboration and tracking tools such as Jira for transparent and aligned work management.
