Decskill is seeking a React Software Developer to join a large-scale enterprise frontend team. You will design, develop, and lead complex frontend features in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with Product, Design, Backend, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will mentor engineers, establish frontend standards, and contribute to scoping and strategic decisions while driving performance and code quality across the codebase.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience developing applications with React.
• Advanced expertise in React Hooks, Context API, component architecture and performance optimization.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including advanced typing, generics and scalable type design.
• Experience with modern state management such as Zustand or Context API.
• Solid knowledge of React Router and design systems, theming and Storybook.
• Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend testing (Vitest).
• Familiarity with Vite, bundling, and frontend performance optimization.
• Contributions to open-source React or frontend projects are a plus.

Responsabilities

Technical Leadership & Mentoring

• Serve as the technical reference point for the frontend team.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and promote continuous technical growth.
• Foster engineering excellence by encouraging best practices and continuous learning.

Technical Problem Solving

• Independently resolve complex technical challenges and unblock development teams.
• Investigate root causes, prototype solutions, and investigate strategically when appropriate.
• Provide technical guidance on high-complexity implementation decisions.
• Define, maintain, and continuously improve frontend coding standards and best practices.
• Ensure technical documentation remains accurate and up to date.
• Promote consistency across the codebase through governance and technical leadership.

Code Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with established coding standards across the development team.
• Implement and maintain automated quality controls, including linting, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Champion a quality-first engineering culture through leadership by example.
• Proactively identify opportunities for refactoring, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction.
• Drive engineering initiatives beyond assigned tasks to improve maintainability and scalability.
• Contribute to the evolution of frontend architecture and development processes.

Feature Development

• Design and develop complex, business-critical frontend features.
• Act as the go-to engineer for high-risk or technically challenging components.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

Technical Skills

Frontend Development

• 5+ years of professional experience developing applications with React.
• Advanced expertise in React Hooks, Context API, component architecture, and performance optimization.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including advanced typing, generics, and scalable type design.

State Management & Data Fetching

• Experience with modern state management solutions such as Zustand, Context API, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of TanStack Query (React Query) for asynchronous state management, caching, and data synchronization.

Routing

• Solid experience with React Router, including nested routing, lazy loading, route guards, and advanced navigation patterns.

Design Systems

• Experience consuming, contributing to, or building Design Systems.
• Strong understanding of reusable component libraries, design tokens, theming, and documentation tools such as Storybook.

API Integration

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, including:
• HTTP methods;
• status codes;

Testing

• Experience writing unit and integration tests using Vitest and Testing Library.
• Commitment to maintaining high test coverage and code quality.

Build Tools & Performance

• Experience with Vite and Rsbuild.
• Understanding of modern frontend tooling, bundle optimization, web performance, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and frontend performance optimization techniques.

Accessibility

• Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and best practices for accessible web applications.

Version Control

• Strong experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and branching strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microfrontend architectures (Module Federation, single-spa, or similar).
• Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR), hydration, and React frameworks such as Next.js or Remix.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments involving multiple engineering teams contributing to shared applications.
• Contributions to open-source React or frontend projects.
• Previous experience in technical mentoring, engineering leadership, or facilitating technical workshops.
