Decskill is seeking a Java Developer with React to join our Porto office. You will design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and React, build RESTful APIs, and deliver features end-to-end.

The role requires 3–5 years of software development experience, strong Java and Spring Boot, React.js, and database knowledge. You will collaborate with product, QA, and UX teams to ensure performance and scalable solutions.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot experience with React.js.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Git and modern version-control workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Clear written and verbal English communication.

We are looking for a Java Developer with React

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and React;
• Build and consume RESTful APIs;
• Develop new features and enhance existing applications;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code;
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and UX;
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software development;
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot;
• Hands-on experience with React.js;
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs;
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server;
• Experience with Git and version control workflows;
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microservices architecture;
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ;
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.);
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
