TE Connectivity is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead customer complaint investigations and drive corrective actions. You will manage containment, track quality issues, and prepare 8D reports, supporting audits and new product introductions.

The role emphasizes collaboration across production and quality systems, with a focus on problem-solving, documentation, and continuous improvement within an automotive-quality framework.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• English proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Core Quality Tools (PPAP, FMEA, MSA, APQP).
• Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, PPSR).
• Understanding of quality documentation, including Control Plans and QIPs.
• Basic metrology and measurement knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with automotive quality standards and customer audits is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the investigation, analysis, and follow-up of customer complaints and returns.
• Coordinate containment actions to protect internal and external customers.
• Manage and track customer quality issues through Fast Response / Quick Response processes.
• Prepare and present 8D reports, corrective actions, and customer communications.
• Support customer meetings, audits, and portal management activities.
• Monitor action plans and verify the effectiveness of corrective measures.
• Create, maintain, and update quality documentation (Control Plans, QIPs, DQIPs).
• Lead internal, customer, and external audits (VDA 6.3 / VDA 6.5).
