TE Connectivity in Évora, Portugal, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a high‑impact team in our e‑mobility manufacturing site, driving quality, throughput and operational excellence. You will collaborate with ME, QE, maintenance and programming to optimise processes and sustain serial output targets.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, has initial leadership experience, speaks English fluently, and applies Lean tools like Gemba and 4DX to improve KPIs.

Qualificações

• Education level: graduate or engineering degree.
• First leadership experience.
• Quality-conscious, precise and structured work.
• Ability to act as a project leader and knowledge of process approval tools (e.g., Kedas, Solaras).
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate the team.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end customer complaint handling using FRB and 8D methodologies with root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Act as primary customer contact during escalations.
• Drive continuous quality improvements by analysing KPIs (PPM, scrap, Pareto, CoPQ, SPC).
• Own and maintain quality documentation (FMEA, Control Plans, QIPs).
• Support production to achieve serial output targets and process validation.
• Lead continuous improvement and standardisation across processes and products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with ME, QE, maintenance, and programming.
• Organise and lead customer audits and close audit actions.
• Manage and develop the Manufacturing Quality team, coach employees and run Kaizen events.
• Apply Lean principles (Gemba, LPA, 4DX) to drive accountability and performance.
