Job summary

Europe Portugal LE_0155-Grohe Portugal Componentes Sanitarios Lda. in Aveiro seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure excellence across the product lifecycle.

You will be the key link between our factories, R&D, purchasing and marketing to bring world‑class products to life. The role requires a degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering, 5+ years in quality management, strong ISO 9001 knowledge, APQP/Stage Gate expertise, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering.
• 5+ years of practical quality management experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001; IATF 16949 experience is a plus.
• APQP / Stage Gate Process expertise.

Responsibilities

• Apply quality methods such as FMEA in projects.
• Track and drive project maturity levels.
• Conduct process audits to maintain top-tier standards.
• Identify quality risks and implement corrective measures.
• Support safe launch activities within your product group.
• Lead continuous improvement projects for both new and existing products.
• Report and monitor quality performance, including error rates and costs.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Expertise in APQP/Stage Gate Process
• Additional quality management training (auditor, Six Sigma) desirable
• Fluent English communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; MS Project and SAP knowledge advantageous
