About the role

We are looking for a motivated, eager-to-learn, hardworking and independent individual to join our growing QA/Financial Engineering team in Lisbon. As a Quality Assurance Financial Engineer, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic company, committed to delivering value-added services in the investment product space.

You will be part of the Projects department, working closely with the IT development and business analysis teams as well as our quality assurance experts.

Thanks to a rapidly changing and growing organization, frequent communication with end-users and internal training on the investment products, you will validate pricing use cases and other automated tests on our highly specialized Test Automation Framework (TAF) – our gateway for IT software releases.

As part of the Test Automation and Test Management team, you will contribute to the rapid growth of test automation coverage for existing applications, as well as new ones under development.

What you’ll do

• Ensure regression of Leonteq application landscape: from pricing to documentation.
• Prepare new test plans with business analysts and end users.
• Expand existing test plans by specification to developers or by coding yourself Python procedures.
• Be the central point of coordination for the release sign-off process, working with different Leonteq teams including development, release management and test automation.

What you’ll need

• Scientific or Engineering background (MSc).
• Desire to learn about financial markets and Quality Assurance.
• Affinity with IT.
• Knowledge of Excel and/or Python.
• Good level of English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of financial markets and products.
• Knowledge of modeling for financial products.
• Prior IT software experience (coding, database querying).
• Any relevant testing, IT or financial certification.
