Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain backend-focused test cases and scenarios to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across APIs and backend services.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication with development teams.
• Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to improve overall product quality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA with a strong focus on backend testing.
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and testing methodologies.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude combined with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Postman, JMeter, Cypress, or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile environments.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation and testing purposes.
• Experience testing microservices-based architectures.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
