InnoTech in Lisboa is looking for a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to execute end-to-end testing across software systems. The role involves collaborating with product owners to ensure quality and usability through well-defined test cases. Qualificações

Junior Quality Assurance Engineer

Your Mission Will Be

• Execute end-to-end testing across front-end, back-end, and integrated user journeys based on defined test scenarios;
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected behaviours, usability issues, and integration failures with internal and external systems;
• Work closely with Product Owners and technical teams to translate business requirements into clear and effective test cases;
• Report defects with complete evidence, detailed reproduction steps, and follow through until resolution;
• Collaborate with QA Automation Engineers to identify manual flows suitable for future automation.

You Will Need

• Initial professional experience, internship, or academic projects in software testing or quality assurance;
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and testing types such as functional, regression, exploratory, and E2E testing;
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to follow structured test cases while identifying hidden risks and edge cases;
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git, or similar platforms for tracking and collaboration;
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Would Be Awesome If You Have

• Knowledge of API testing, SQL queries, browser developer tools, and testing across multiple environments;
• Experience communicating effectively with product and development teams in agile environments;
• Understanding of payment solutions, instant payments, or business-critical financial systems;
• Familiarity with standards and formats such as ISO 20022 or SEPA Instant;
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
