GBT Solutions, a Lisbon-hybrid technology company, seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to shape automated testing across Web and Mobile. You will define automation strategy, promote QA best practices, and mentor multidisciplinary teams in a fast-moving Scrum/Kanban setup.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, strong autonomy, and a passion for mentoring. English fluency is required to collaborate with global teams and Open Source initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Create reusable libraries and modular components to accelerate automation delivery across the enterprise.
• Connect and automate web, desktop, and API applications with enterprise systems, databases, and cloud services.
• Define standards for logging, exception handling, observability, and code quality (Clean Code, SOLID).
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, build, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with architects and mentor developers to elevate the team's technical level.
• Work with AI Agents, Generative AI, or Agentic Automation, and contribute to Open Source.
• Fluency in English.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal professional will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our solutions (Web and Mobile), defining the test automation strategy, and promoting Quality Assurance best practices within multidisciplinary teams (Scrum/Kanban).

If you have over 5 years of experience, strong technical autonomy, and a passion for mentoring, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Create reusable libraries and modular components to accelerate automation delivery across the enterprise;
• Connect and automate (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework, Java, etc) web, desktop, and API applications with enterprise systems, databases, and cloud services;
• Define standards for logging, exception handling, observability, and code quality (Clean Code, SOLID);
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, build, and deployment processes;
• Collaborate with architects and mentor developers to elevate the team's technical level;
