Reach IT, a nearshore provider, is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a Product Squad in an international financial technology environment. You will build and evolve automated testing for web apps and distributed systems, focusing on front-end, end-to-end and API testing, and integrate tests into GitHub Actions pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Implement automated testing frameworks for front-end, end-to-end and API testing.
• Develop and maintain reliable automated test suites as part of the Product Squad.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and maintain testing standards, guidelines and documentation.
• Monitor automation coverage, test stability and performance.
• Identify and reduce flaky tests to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with Developers and Quality Engineers to support automated tests.
• Help the squad increase ownership of test automation.
• Align practices with wider Quality Engineering approach.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks and pipelines.
• Support reduction of production incidents related to gaps in testing.

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer

To join a Product Squad within an international financial technology environment, working closely with Developers, Quality Engineers and a broader Quality Chapter.

The role focuses on building and evolving automated testing for web apps and distributed systems, with particular attention to front-end, end-to-end and API testing, as well as the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can contribute directly to test automation while also helping the squad establish consistent standards and sustainable quality practices.

The objective is to enable Developers and Quality Engineers to write, maintain and take ownership of automated tests across the product lifecycle.

Skills

• Front-end and end-to-end test automation;
• API testing and validation of integrations between systems;
• Web applications and distributed systems;
• Integration of automated tests into GitHub Actions pipelines;
• Test coverage (+85%), stability, execution time and test reliability;
• Some experience in Software Development/Architecture;
• Performance and load testing

Responsibilities

• Implement automated testing frameworks for front-end, end-to-end and API testing;
• Develop and maintain reliable automated test suites as part of the Product Squad;
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines;
• Define and maintain testing standards, guidelines and practical documentation;
• Monitor automation coverage, test stability, execution performance and recurring failures;
• Identify and reduce flaky tests, improving the reliability and maintainability of the test suites;
• Work with Developers and Quality Engineers to support the creation and maintenance of automated tests;
• Help the squad increase its participation and ownership of test automation;
• Collaborate with the Quality Chapter to align practices and tooling with the wider Quality Engineering approach;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks, pipelines and quality processes;
• Support the reduction of production incidents related to functional, integration or regression gaps
