Nimber is seeking a Mid-Level Quality Analyst to join a banking-focused project, ensuring quality and reliability of business-critical applications.

You will perform manual testing, write test cases, manage defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing practices, including exploring AI-assisted testing approaches.

Formación

• 3–6 years of professional QA experience.
• Strong hands-on manual software testing experience.
• Solid knowledge of functional, regression testing and defect management.
• Experience using Jira, Xray and Confluence.
• Ability to translate requirements into effective test scenarios and cases.
• Familiarity with AI tools in testing.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a quality focus.

At Nimber, we're looking for a Mid-Level Quality Analyst to join a challenging project within the banking sector, focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of business-critical applications.

You'll be part of an IT team responsible for supporting software quality across different applications, with a strong focus on manual testing, functional validation and defect management.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and explore how AI tools can enhance software testing practices.

What You'll Be Doing

• Review business requirements and functional specifications to identify relevant test scenarios.
• Design, prepare and execute manual test cases, including functional and regression testing.
• Identify, document and track defects, working closely with development and product teams to ensure resolution.
• Use Jira, Xray and Confluence to manage testing activities, defects and documentation.
• Monitor testing progress and prepare clear reports on execution results and outstanding issues.
• Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, documentation and quality assurance practices.
• Explore the use of AI tools to support testing activities, following internal guidelines and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• 3 to 6 years of professional experience as a Quality Analyst, QA Analyst or Software Tester.
• Strong hands‑on experience with manual software testing.
• Solid knowledge of functional testing, regression testing and defect management.
• Experience using Jira, Xray and Confluence.
• Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their potential applications in software testing.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• A proactive, detail‑oriented approach with a strong focus on quality.
• French proficiency at B2 level or above.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with telephony, contact centre or call centre applications.
• Familiarity with test automation concepts or automated testing tools.
• Experience working in Agile environments, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
• Previous exposure to banking or financial services applications.
