BASEYARD in Braga, Portugal, seeks an experienced QHSE Manager to establish and lead its Quality, Health, Safety & Environment function on site. You will implement and continuously improve an integrated QHSE system across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain, aligning with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AQAP, and defence industry needs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in QHSE, Quality Management, Quality Engineering, or manufacturing quality roles.
• Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience implementing or maintaining Quality Management Systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and experience with audits.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead BASEYARD’s QHSE function from the ground up.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve the integrated QHSE Management System.
• Establish and maintain the Quality Management System per ISO 9001 and other requirements.
• Lead implementation and certification activities related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, AQAP.
• Define quality policies, procedures, SOPs, and traceability standards.
• Manage NCR, CAPA, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement processes.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits.
• Establish quality control/QA across production, engineering, NPI, supply chain, and warehouse.
• Support NPI and transfer into serial production with quality requirements.
• Support supplier qualification and supplier audits.
• Establish workplace Health & Safety systems per ISO 4501 and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver QHSE training and safety awareness.
• Establish Environmental Management System per ISO 14001 and monitor impacts.
