TravelEssence in Lisbon is seeking a QA Tester to ensure software quality across OutSystems apps. You will define test plans, run manual and exploratory tests, and collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to verify business needs are met.

You’ll triage support tickets, contribute to test automation where possible, and help improve processes and communication between users, support, and engineers. This onsite role offers a hybrid setup with flexibility to work from home when appropriate and

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with OutSystems applications.
• One or more QA/testing certifications (ISTQB or similar).
• Good understanding of testing approaches and practice.

• Validate that UI/UX and functionality meet business expectations.

• Support the introduction of test automation within the QA process.

As a QA Tester, you’ll make sure that what we build is not only technically solid but also truly valuable to our users and the business. You’ll go beyond pure testing, representing theclient and business perspective, ensuring we’re solving the right problems and maintaining a clear flow of communication between users, support, and developers.

What you’ll do

Collaborate closely withProduct Owners andDevelopers to ensure business requirements are fully understood and tested

Define and executetest plans and test scripts for new features and changes

Performmanual, regression, and exploratory tests across OutSystems applications

Validate that UI/UX and functionality meetbusiness expectations

Participate intriaging support tickets, identifying, reproducing, and logging issues accurately

Escalate software issues to the development team, andguide or assist users when issues are not related to the software itself

Contribute ideas to improve product quality, processes, and communication flow

Support the introduction oftest automation within the QA process

What we’re looking for

3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with OutSystems applications

One or moreQA/testing certifications (ISTQB or similar

Good understanding of theOutSystems Platform and its testing approaches

Experience withmanual and regression testing; exposure totest automation is a plus

Strong understanding ofbusiness processes and how technology supports them

A proactive mindset with the ability tocommunicate clearly across teams and represent end-user needs

Fluent in English, written and spoken
