Our fast-growing software company in Lisbon is seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products before they are released to our clients. This position offers a competitive salary of $1400 as well as accommodation options for those relocating to Lisbon.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our software products.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Utilize automated testing tools to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing processes.
• Continuously monitor and report on the quality of our products, providing suggestions for improvement when necessary.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continually improve our QA processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role with a strong understanding of software development processes.
• Proficient in manual testing techniques with experience in automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB certification or equivalent experience in software testing methodologies.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.
