About the Assignment
- Client: Global automotive manufacturer — customer care and engineering technology programme
- Engagement: Full-time
- Start date: First half of September 2026
- Duration: Up to 3 years
- Model: Nearshore delivery from Lisbon, with on-site onboarding in the Netherlands (1–2 weeks)
- Office presence: Minimum 3 days per week on-site in Lisbon
- Travel: Initial onboarding in the Netherlands. Occasional travel may be required throughout the assignment, and colleagues from the client organisation will also regularly visit the Lisbon team.

The client operates a global customer service technology ecosystem spanning three key platforms: Salesforce CRM and case management, a distributed Azure and .NET application landscape, and a Genesys Cloud contact centre environment.
The QA Engineer / Test Automation Specialist is responsible for ensuring quality across this entire landscape. This role goes beyond application-level testing and focuses on validating end-to-end customer journeys, ensuring seamless integration between systems, and building sustainable automated test coverage that identifies issues before they reach production.
Responsabilities:
- Build and maintain Genesys Cloud flows using Architect, including inbound, outbound, in-queue and digital flows.
- Configure and evolve routing functionalities, including queues, skills, evaluation methods and priority handling.
- Implement IVR logic and self-service journeys across voice and digital channels.
- Configure digital channels, including chat, email and messaging, in line with the global platform standard.
- Build integrations between Genesys Cloud and the surrounding application landscape using the Genesys Cloud Platform API.
- Implement data actions and custom integrations with CRM and enterprise services.
- Develop automation, scripting and client-side extensions where required by the platform.
- Collaborate with the Salesforce and Azure teams on integration paths between the different environments.
- Test flows and integrations before release, including regression testing of existing customer journeys.
- Support reporting and analytics configuration.
- Support incident resolution and platform improvements across a live, multi-market contact centre.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and operational teams to define how the platform should behave
Technical skills:
- Proven hands-on experience developing and configuring Genesys Cloud CX.
- Practical experience with Genesys Architect flows, including inbound, in-queue and digital flows.
- Working knowledge of routing configuration, including queues, skills, priorities and evaluation methods.
- Experience with the Genesys Cloud Platform API and the development of integrations.
- Experience in IVR, routing and customer journey design and implementation.
- Solid understanding of contact centre processes.
- Scripting or development capabilities using JavaScript or an equivalent technology, sufficient to build data actions and custom extensions.
- Experience working in a multi-market or multi-country contact centre environment.
- Genesys Cloud certification, such as CX Developer or a Professional-level equivalent, is an asset.
- Experience integrating Genesys Cloud with Salesforce Service Cloud is an asset.
- Exposure to Azure-based middleware and integration patterns is an asset.
- Experience with conversational AI, reporting and analytics, or workforce engagement management is an asset.
Profile :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in contact centre platform development, including at least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Genesys Cloud.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Proactive working approach, with the ability to independently seek information and respectfully challenge stakeholders.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is required,
