Job summary

Natixis in Portugal is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests using Robot Framework and Selenium. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust test coverage and participate in building scalable automation frameworks.

Ideal candidates have a strong QA background, programming knowledge in Java/C#/Python, and French proficiency. The role supports a hybrid work policy and ongoing professional growth within the Groupe BPCE international division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Robot and/or Selenium for test automation.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in French (C1 level mandatory). ISTQB or CSTE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts using Robot and/or Selenium
• Execute and analyze automated tests to identify defects and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks
• Investigate and report software defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and best practices
• Provide accurate and timely status reports on testing progress and results
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members
• Stay updated on industry best practices and tools related to test automation
