GBL Tech is seeking a mid-level QA Engineer to join a collaborative software development environment focused on delivering high-quality solutions. You will contribute to functional and API testing, ensuring applications behave as expected from both business and technical perspectives.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years of QA experience, strong API testing and a proven ability to translate requirements into comprehensive test cases within Agile teams.

Formación

• 4–5 years of professional QA experience.
• Hands-on API testing experience with understanding of HTTP methods, status codes and data validation.
• Strong functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end testing capabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Analytical, detail oriented with structured defect investigation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute functional test scenarios for application features and user journeys.
• Perform hands-on API testing across services, validating requests and responses.
• Translate requirements into clear test cases, scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document and track defects, collaborating with development to validate fixes.
• Execute regression and integration tests to ensure new changes don’t impact existing functionality.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners and stakeholders to promote quality mindset.

The Role

We're looking for a QA Engineer to join a collaborative software development environment focused on delivering reliable, high-quality solutions. This role is ideal for a mid-level QA professional with strong functional testing experience and hands‑on exposure to API testing, helping ensure applications behave as expected from both a business and technical perspective.

Your Mission:

• Functional Testing: Design and execute functional test scenarios to validate application features, business rules, and expected user journeys.
• API Testing: Perform hands‑on testing of APIs, validating requests, responses, status codes, data, and integration behaviour across different services.
• Test Planning: Analyse requirements and translate them into clear test cases, scenarios, and acceptance criteria, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and follow up on defects, working closely with development teams to investigate issues and validate fixes.
• Regression & Integration Testing: Execute regression and integration tests to ensure new developments do not impact existing functionality or downstream systems.
• Quality Collaboration: Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to promote a strong quality mindset.

What We Are Looking For:

• QA Experience: 4–5 years of professional experience in Functional Testing / Quality Assurance.
• API Testing: Practical experience testing APIs, with a good understanding of requests, responses, HTTP methods, status codes, and data validation.
• Functional Expertise: Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Requirements Analysis: Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and cases.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to identifying defects.
• Agile Environment: Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating closely with development and business stakeholders.
