Job summary

act digital is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a dynamic tech environment, ensuring the quality of web applications, APIs, and microservices through automated tests. You will focus on test automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration within an Agile/DevOps setting, collaborating closely with development teams to embed quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in QA Automation.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Newman, RestAssured, or PyTest.
• Experience testing APIs, distributed applications, and microservices-based architectures.
• Experience with Git and Docker.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jira and Xray.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs, microservices, and web applications.
• Implement regression, integration, and end-to-end automated testing.
• Create, maintain, and continuously improve test automation scripts and frameworks.
• Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage test execution results and evidence using Jira and Xray.
• Contribute to the definition of acceptance criteria and shift-left testing practices.
• Support defect analysis, troubleshooting, and validation of fixes.
• Collaborate on test data preparation and management.
• Work closely with development teams to continuously improve software quality.
