Checkmarx está à procura de um QA Automation Engineer para colaborar com equipas de Produto, Arquitetura e Engenharia visando compreender requisitos e definir estratégias de teste. Design, desenvolvimento e manutenção de testes automatizados são essenciais, bem como a integração de ferramentas de IA nos fluxos de trabalho diários.

É esperado domínio de testes de aplicações SaaS, experiência com Python e com pipelines de CI/CD, GitHub ou GitLab, e forte capacidade analítica e comunicativa em

Qualifications

• +2 anos de experiência prática em automação de testes (Playwright, Cypress ou Selenium).
• +2 anos de experiência em Python.
• Experiência comprovada com produtos SaaS.
• Experiência prática com ferramentas/IA, prompt engineering e agentes.
• Experiência em API testing.
• Experiência com GitHub/GitLab incluindo pipelines e workflows.
• Domínio de fundamentos de testes e planeamento de testes.
• Fortes capacidades analíticas e de comunicação em inglês.

Responsabilités

• Colaborar com Produto, Arquitetura e Engenharia para entender requisitos e definir estratégias de teste.
• Projetar, desenvolver e manter testes automatizados.
• Integrar ferramentas de IA e agentes nos fluxos de trabalho diários (geração de testes, análise de falhas, otimização de cobertura).
• Trabalhar com ferramentas conectadas ao MCP (GitHub, GitLab) para gestão de código e pipelines CI/CD.
• Investigar falhas e conduzir a análise de causa raiz.

How will you make an impact?

• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Engineering to understand requirements and define test strategies
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test
• Integrate AI tools and agents into daily workflows (test generation, failure analysis, coverage optimization)
• Work with MCP-connected tools (GitHub, GitLab) for code management and CI/CD pipelines
• Investigate failures and drive root cause analysis

What is needed to succeed?

• +2 years of hands-on test automation experience (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium)
• +2 years of Python experience
• Proven experience working with SaaS products
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, and agents
• API testing experience
• GitHub/GitLab experience including pipelines and workflows
• Strong understanding of testing fundamentals and test planning
• Strong analytical and communication skills in English
