Planck Technologies is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to strengthen our software testing efforts in Braga. You will design and implement automated test frameworks for SaaS platforms, focusing on API testing and end-to-end coverage.

The role requires 2+ years in QA, hands-on experience with Cypress/Playwright or Cucumber, Python proficiency, and strong CI/CD knowledge, all while ensuring high-quality software releases with clear, actionable test results.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise with Cypress, Playwright or Cucumber.
• 3+ years Python experience preferred (2+ required).
• Experience testing SaaS platforms and API testing (REST).
• Experience with GitLab/GitHub CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).

• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Engineering to define test strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests.
• Integrate AI tools into daily testing workflows.
• Work with MCP-connected tools for code management and CI/CD.

What are we looking for?

• More than 2 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation;
• Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks;
• Hands-on expertise with Cypress, Playwright or Cucumber;
• More than 2 years of Python experience;
• Experience testing SaaS platforms;
• Strong knowledge of API testing, including RESTful services and automation of API test scenarios;
• Experience working with GitLab/GitHub, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration;
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing;
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
