Bosch Service Solutions in Lisbon seeks a Software Developer (Python) to build and maintain automated test environments for Linux-based embedded software. You will enable HIL testing, automated test execution, and robust reporting throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Linux application development and Linux shell scripting.
• Experience developing software for Linux-based Raspberry Pi platforms.
• Knowledge of real-time programming concepts.
• Experience with test automation frameworks, preferably Pytest.
• Understanding of embedded software development and validation processes.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of CAN communication protocols and CAN trace analysis.
• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite.
• Experience with software testing activities across the complete development lifecycle.
• Preferred: Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing environments.
• Familiarity with Lauterbach and SEGGER debugging interfaces.
• Experience developing automated validation frameworks for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD-based test execution and reporting solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and maintaining Python-based test frameworks for Linux embedded software projects.
• Enabling fully automated testing of embedded software in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups.
• Implementing automated execution of test cases, component resets, log collection, bug reporting, and consolidated test reporting.
• Developing automation solutions using Pytest and modern software engineering practices.
• Supporting continuous integration and continuous testing activities.
• Designing scalable, maintainable software architectures for test environments and engineering tools.
• Defining KPI measurements to monitor software quality, reliability, and testing efficiency.
• Creating reusable libraries, APIs, and services to support validation and testing activities.
• Contributing to evolution of software architecture and development methodologies.
• Providing validation coverage across engineering teams and collaborating with software/electronics teams.
