The Bosch Group is seeking an Automation Engineer in Braga to drive automated test and manufacturing systems for automotive products, designing end-to-end solutions with PLCs, robotics, machine vision, sensors and HMIs.

You will define architectures for new production equipment, coordinate suppliers, support installation and ramp-up internationally, and contribute to continuous improvement and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation or similar).
• Experience in industrial automation, machine development or testing systems is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and industrial protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Drive the industrialization of automated test and manufacturing systems for automotive products.
• Define hardware, electrical, mechanical, and software architectures for new production equipment and test stations.
• Manage the technical coordination of suppliers throughout development, construction, validation and acceptance of equipment.
• Support installation, commissioning, ramp-up and optimization of new production lines, locally and internationally.
• Develop automation concepts, machine programs and vision inspection systems to improve quality and productivity.
• Plan and execute machine validation, process qualification and troubleshooting.
• Monitor manufacturing performance indicators and drive continuous improvement via Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and provide support for prototype and series production.
