Bosch Service Solutions in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Software Test & Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and safety of eBike systems and related software. The role involves designing robust test solutions, driving automation, performing detailed test analysis, and contributing to quality processes within cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in a relevant technical field, have hands-on experience with testing tools (CANoe/vTESTstudio) and CI/CD, and

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or closely related field; equivalent practical experience valued.
• Proven experience in software testing, test automation, or system validation, ideally in embedded systems.
• Familiarity with CI, QA workflows, and requirements management.
• Experience or interest in applying AI/ML, esp. Generative AI, to testing processes is a plus.
• Hands-on debugging tools experience (e.g., Lauterbach) is a plus.
• Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 13849/FUSI) is advantageous.
• ISTQB Foundation level certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Designing and implementing robust test solutions using Python, C#, CAPL.
• Drive test automation to increase efficiency, coverage, and repeatability, including AI-assisted tasks.
• Perform test execution, analysis, debugging, and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to software requirement reviews and defect documentation processes.
• Work with test benches and tools like CANoe, vTESTstudio; manage version control and CI/CD (Git, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins).
• Create clear, structured test reports and continuously improve test strategies and quality practices.
