AgileEngine in Portugal Aveiro is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to a follow-the-sun DevSecOps pod, writing Python scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines and tuning scanners to reduce false positives.

You will deploy automated hardened baselines and provide code-level remediation guidance to development teams, with 3–5 years of software engineering experience and strong Python proficiency.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python proficiency for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate security gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune security scanning tools to reduce false positives and improve alerts.
• Deploy automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Provide remediation guidance to development teams in Java and Python.
