Our client is an integrated, fully customisable platform that enables organisations to manage their freelance talent effectively and insightfully. Centralising freelancer availability in real-time, empowering hiring managers to onboard, book and pay talent with ease while ensuring compliance with local tax and labour laws.

Get the chance to work with broadcasters across the UK and help our client manage over 1000 bookings each month. The mission is to simplify freelancer management for every stakeholder.

About the Role

Work on a modern, scalable platform that handles booking management, client relationships, and analytics for freelance operations. As a Python Backend Developer on our AI-first development team, you\u2019ll architect scalable REST APIs and design complex database schemas that power our core platform. Our team leverages AI tools extensively for accelerated development, debugging, and optimisation.

• Architect Scalable Solutions: Design and implement secure, efficient cloud solutions using Azure services to optimise infrastructure while enabling cloud-native app environments.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Promote system reliability through continuous improvement with advanced observability and streamline CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate to Innovate: Work within cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into cloud-first solutions that drive customer success.

What’s important to us

• Strong background in software development, with solid understanding of various development tools and methodologies.
• Experience with Azure services, including IaaS, networking, security, container orchestration (AKS), and serverless computing.
• Azure certifications and familiarity with the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) are a plus.
• Experience with automation technologies, such as IaC (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines, with a good understanding of software engineering concepts and practices.
• Curiosity to learn new technologies, passion for sharing knowledge, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
