Responsibilities

• Implementar TDD para garantir qualidade de código.
• Conduzir melhorias contínuas com foco em DevOps e pipelines CI/CD.
• Refatorar mantendo princípios de design simples e arquitetura limpa.
• Promover colaboração com pair programming, daily standups, code reviews, sprints e retrospectivas.
• Projetar e manter arquiteturas resilientes que suportem escalabilidade e desempenho.
• Utilizar Django no desenvolvimento backend.

Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations. This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business. We are looking for a Python Developer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).

Main Technical Requirements

• Between 6 and 9 years of experience in a similar role;
• Proven experience as a Lead Developer with a strong focus on Python;
• In-depth knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD);
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and methodologies;
• Expertise in refactoring, simple design, and clean architecture principles;
• Experience with agile methodologies and team collaboration practices;
• Proficiency in Django framework;
• Good level of English language.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Test Driven Development (TDD) to ensure high code quality and reliability;
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;
• Conduct refactoring efforts while adhering to simple design principles and clean architecture;
