KCS IT in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our team. You will own complex coding tasks, design solutions, and contribute to client projects across multiple industries.

The role requires 5+ years of Python experience, a CS/Engineering degree, strong testing, CI/CD, cloud skills, and fluent English (C1). Hybrid work in Lisbon, with optional remote periods and collaboration with international teams.

Qualificações

• Ability to write Python code autonomously, without AI tools to develop the solution.

We are looking for an Amazing: Python developer

Seniority: Senior-level (5+ years)

Type of position: Hybrid model in Lisbon. Candidates need to be already living in Portugal!

The amazing you, will have:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Python.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Strong ability to write Python code autonomously, without depending on AI tools to develop the solution.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical problems and identify effective solutions.
• Experience with software testing, including writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, clean code and best practices.
• Fluent English — C1 mandatory.
• Nice to Have Professional experience with LLMs (Large Language Models).
• Experience integrating and developing solutions using AI/LLM APIs.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development and emerging AI technologies.
• Experience with cloud environments and modern DevOps practices.
• Residence in Lisbon, Portugal, with availability to work in a hybrid model.
