Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and embed secure coding practices into software development and cloud workflows.

The role requires 3+ years of software and security experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on use of Wiz/Prisma Cloud with Terraform for IaC. You will automate security runbooks and integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD, while ensuring CSPM runtime checks across environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience combining software engineering, security implementation and/or architecture.
• Strong coding in Python for security automation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security posture management tools like Wiz or Prisma Cloud and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and secure-from-the-start automation.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate them with SDLC workflows.
• Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA tools into enterprise CI/CD pipelines and tune for reduce noise.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM to maintain cloud visibility and threat posture.
• Review enterprise code to provide code-level remediation guidance.
