Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and embed secure coding practices across cloud workflows. You will build AI-enabled security runbooks and integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in security/engineering, strong Python, and hands-on experience with Wiz or Prisma Cloud, Terraform IaC, and CSPM. You will work autonomously to drive secure-from-the-start development across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software security or security engineering experience.
• Strong Python coding for security automation.
• Experience with cloud security tools (Wiz, Prisma Cloud) and CSPM.
• IaC/Terraform deploy-time checks implemented.
• Runtime CSPM security checks implemented.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and 'Golden Images' to drive secure-from-the-start adoption.
• Automate the development of secure coding patterns and integrate them with SDLC workflows.
• Architect the integration of SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines, tuning to reduce noise.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM to maintain cloud visibility and threat posture.
• Read and review complex application code to provide remediation guidance to engineers.
