Vodafone Group Plc in Lisbon is seeking a Complex Technical Engineer to design, implement, and optimise Microsoft Purview-based data governance solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Purview with Azure and on-prem sources, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient data management.

The role requires hands-on Purview experience in large environments, strong Azure knowledge, and English fluency.

Qualificações

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Hands-on experience designing, implementing and operating Purview in large environments.
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, data governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment.
Microsoft certifications (Azure Data Engineer, Azure Security Engineer) desirable.
Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

Design and deploy Purview solutions for data discovery, cataloguing, classification, and governance across diverse data estates.
Lead technical workshops, provide guidance on best practices, and develop architectural documentation for Purview deployments.
Configure and maintain Purview environments, ensuring seamless integration with Azure services and on-premises data sources.
Monitor data compliance, conduct risk assessments, and implement remediation strategies in line with regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot complex issues, resolve technical incidents, and provide expert support to internal stakeholders.
Stay current with advancements in Purview, Azure, and data governance technologies.
