As a Procurement Specialist focused on food categories, you will play a central role in driving strategic sourcing effectiveness across a highly dynamic, international organization. Working closely with regional teams and Category Directors, you will turn complex, fragmented data into actionable market insights that fuel global sourcing strategies and bottom-line value creation. By bridging functional divides, maintaining accurate performance baselines, and managing key supplier touchpoints, you will directly impact regional cost optimization and operational excellence within a culturally diverse, multi-country matrix environment.
On a day-to-day basis, you will collect and analyze market intelligence, structure category baselines, and collaborate with Finance and Data teams to ensure accurate tracking of category dashboard metrics. You will take ownership of specific phases within RFI/RFQ initiatives and supplier benchmarking, guiding vendors through onboarding and conducting foundational contractual negotiations aligned with core relationship management frameworks. Additionally, your daily routine involves engaging multi-regional stakeholders, setting clear task timelines, preparing strategic scenario presentations for sourcing leadership, and actively facilitating smooth category execution and product substitution initiatives.
You bring over five years of specialized experience within Procurement or Supply Management—specifically supporting food categories—backed by a relevant degree in business, accounting, or the sciences. You possess advanced analytical focus, strong financial acumen, and exceptional proficiency with data manipulation in Excel, with extra consideration given for experience in Power BI, Smartsheet, or digital eRFx tools. Fluency in English (with French being a valuable asset) is required, along with proven project management discipline, strong supplier negotiation skills, and the cross-cultural agility needed to foster collaborative relationships across complex international business units.
