Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

As a Commercial Buyer and Project Buyer, you are responsible for representing our commercial interests in the development projects and have key role in shaping the future purchasing and supplier strategy in Home Comfort Division.

  • In our team you are responsible for the technical purchasing of new parts and components in development projects, control the time-to-market process and the introduction of new parts.
  • Your tasks also include global coordination and strategy implementation in the assigned material area.
  • You are responsible for group-wide cooperation in purchasing within the Bosch Group and represent the interests of the Home Comfort division.
  • You are responsible for the operational support of the plants worldwide to ensure the ability to deliver.
  • You are the interface between business unit and supplier and are responsible for strategic and operational issues.
  • The creation and implementation of material field and sourcing strategies as well as the fulfillment of cost targets from commercial and contractual negotiations are also part of your tasks
  • Last but not least, you will work with international suppliers and teams.
Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • Completed university studies inengineering or a comparable subject.

Experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Project Purchasing and Strategic Purchasing along with Electronics know-how.

Know-how

  • Good knowledge on supply chain, contract and price negotiation;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.

Languages

  • Good command of English, spoken and written.

  • Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, good cross-functional collaboration and commercial mindset, problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to identify issues, develop solutions & drive results.
