Job summary

Bosch Home Comfort Portugal is seeking a Project Leader for Heat Pump Development to drive complex projects from requirements to market handover. You will coordinate international teams, apply Time-to-Market processes, and manage scope, milestones, budgets, and risks in a hybrid Aveiro setting.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree and have experience leading multi-disciplinary programs across product lifecycles, with strong communication and stakeholder management.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Lead heat pump development projects from requirements definition through development, validation, product launch and market handover;
• Apply the Time-to-Market (TTM) process throughout the product development lifecycle;
• Lead and coordinate international, cross-functional project teams toward common project goals;
• Plan, monitor and report on project scope, milestones, resources and performance;
• Manage project budgets and product costs, ensuring transparency throughout the development process;
• Coordinate with related projects as well as internal and external stakeholders;
• Identify project risks at an early stage and drive proactive mitigation measures;
• Support effective decision‑making by creating transparency around priorities, risks and project status.

What Distinguishes You:

Education

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience

• Experience leading complex product development or engineering projects, ideally across the full product lifecycle;
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams in an international environment;
• Experience with product development phases from requirements and planning through validation, launch and market handover.

Know‑how

• Strong knowledge of project management methods and tools, including planning, risk management, stakeholder management, budget management and project reporting;
• Good technical understanding, enabling you to discuss technical topics, challenge assumptions and support effective project decisions;
• Knowledge of Time-to-Market (TTM) or comparable product development processes is an advantage;
• PMP or a comparable project management certification is considered a plus.

Languages

• Very good written and spoken English, enabling you to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
