Alstom in Portugal is seeking a Project Contract Manager to drive contract strategy and protect project value in complex mobility projects. You will lead contract and claim management across the project lifecycle, define CMSP, and drive risk reviews and mitigation strategies.

You will collaborate with project management, engineering, finance and legal, handling variations, notices and disputes while ensuring compliance with CCIM standards.

Qualificações

• Degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field.
• 10+ years in contract/claim management or project management.
• Knowledge of Portuguese law and public procurement (CCP).
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Ability to interpret complex contractual and technical documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Monitor contractual obligations, milestones and project performance
• Prepare and manage documentation for claims, disputes (e.g. DAB) and litigation support
• Collaborate transversally with project teams, legal, procurement and finance

Your role, your impact

• Lead contract and claim management activities across the project lifecycle

You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams across project management, engineering, finance and legal - solving complex contractual challenges that directly impact project success.

What you bring

• Degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field
• Strong experience in contract/claim management or project management (10+ years preferred)
• Knowledge of Portuguese law and public procurement (CCP)
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
• Ability to interpret complex contractual and technical documentation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities
• Experience in multinational engineering or infrastructure projects (a plus)
• Spanish or French (a plus)
