Renvolt Energy in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Contract Manager to support a portfolio of EPC and engineering contracts across geographies. The role involves drafting contracts, managing amendments, and analyzing risk.

You will negotiate supplier contracts, optimize templates, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with laws and Renvolt’s Code of Conduct. English required; travel nationally and internationally possible.

Qualificações

  • Master’s degree or Degree in Law or Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as Contract Manager (construction contracts, equipment purchases or engineering contracts).
  • Solid experience in project-related contracts (Construction & Maintenance / EPC).
  • Knowledge of renewable energies and energy sector regulations is a plus.

Our Engineering, Procurement & Engineering business line is looking for a Contract Manager to be involved on a portfolio of projects across different geographies, providing support to the project team on contractual and legal aspects.



  • Draft contracts and amendments, bring continuous improvement to the contract templates;

  • Identify and optimize the contract's commercial leverage;

  • Prepare the contract summary to be presented to management.

  • Analyse and negotiate supplier contracts;

  • Improve and optimize existing subcontract templates and general purchasing terms;

  • Support Procurement and Construction negotiating orders;

  • Analyse and measure the risk versus the opportunities;

  • Manage and supervise changes, variations and claims in EPC Contracts and subcontracts;

  • Manage the project’s contract documentation and communications;

  • Analyse and mitigate contractual risks for the company;

  • Assist in managing customer and supplier claims;

  • Tools and Methods, in coordination with the PMO Department:

  • Set up and monitor contractual management processes for ongoing projects;

  • Set up and track the project performance indicators;

  • Inform the team on main contract risks;

  • Raise contract and commercial awareness;

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, Renvolt’s Code of Conduct and other internal rules and procedures.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Master’s degree or Degree in Law or Engineering;

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as Contract Manager (construction contracts, equipment purchases or engineering contracts);

  • Solid experience in project-related contracts (Construction & Maintenance / EPC)

  • Additional legal and/ or contract management training on international construction/ industrial projects is very much appreciated;

  • Knowledge and experience in renewable energies and energy sector and its regulation is a strong plus;

  • Excellent writing skills and knowledge in drafting legal documents;

  • Good understanding of corporate taxation and ability to measure the impact of taxes on the contract's P&L;

  • Good understanding of a project's lifecycles (methods, processes, project management practices);

  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms is a strong asset;

  • Availability for national and international travels;

  • English language domain is mandatory, portuguese is nice to have.

  • Proven negotiation, drafting skills, Ability to synthetize and prioritize;

  • Strong risk identification, management skills, Negotiation and conflict resolution;

  • Able to work autonomously while reporting to the EPC Contract Regional Manager;

  • Effective management of priorities in a fast-paced environment;

  • Business partner mindset: sense of customer service and compromise.
