Alstom in Portugal is seeking a Project Contract Manager to drive contract strategy and protect project value across complex mobility projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You will lead contract and claim management across the project lifecycle, implement CMSP, manage EoTs and variations, and ensure CCIM compliance while supporting negotiations with customers and suppliers.

Qualificações

• Degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Strong experience in contract/claim management or project management (10+ years preferred).
• Knowledge of Portuguese law and public procurement (CCP).
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Your role, your impact

• Lead contract and claim management activities across the project lifecycle
• Define and implement Contract Management Strategy Plans (CMSP)
• Drive risk reviews and mitigation strategies on a regular basis
• Manage variations, claims, extensions of time (EoTs) and contractual notices
• Ensure compliance with contract, claims and insurance management standards (CCIM)
• Support negotiations with customers, partners and suppliers
• Monitor contractual obligations, milestones and project performance
• Prepare and manage documentation for claims, disputes (e.g. DAB) and litigation support
• Collaborate transversally with project teams, legal, procurement and finance

You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams across project management, engineering, finance and legal - solving complex contractual challenges that directly impact project success.

What You Bring

• Degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Economics or related field
• Strong experience in contract/claim management or project management (10+ years preferred)
• Knowledge of Portuguese law and public procurement (CCP)
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
• Ability to interpret complex contractual and technical documentation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
• Experience in multinational engineering or infrastructure projects (a plus)
• Spanish or French (a plus)
