Job summary

Elastomer Solutions Group is looking for a Project Buyer to join our engineering and procurement team. You will be an internal representative of customer requirements and support new product development and sales activities across assigned customers.

You will manage sourcing from project kickoff through mass production, issue RFQs to BOM, moulds and tooling suppliers, evaluate quotes, and ensure quality and timely delivery while adhering to health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering (Mechanics, Materials or similar).
• Proficient level of English (mandatory).
• Previous experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment of at least 4 years, working along Automotive or Manufacturing Industry.
• Technical Knowledge: Purchasing, Supply Chain and Quality System.
• Target-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing from project kickoff until start of mass production (sourcing strategy, RFQ, negotiation, selection, award).
• Generate, distribute and follow up on all RFQ’s to BOM, Moulds and tooling Suppliers for all Elastomer Solutions Group.
• Analyse quotes from suppliers and prepare datasheet analyse for final decision.
• Follow the project phase with suppliers to assure quality and timing agreed.
• Assure the continues application of health, safety, environmental and Quality requirements at work related to the activity.

YOUR MISSION

Making part of our corporate product development team you will be an internal representative of customer requirements and expectations, supporting new products development and sales team within your attributed customers.

YOUR MAIN ROLE WITH US
